Schultz's artworks are surely the most stunning masterpieces of Polish Baroque painting.
He painted under big influence of Dutch and Flemish masters of the 17th century, especially Rembrandt. Typical elements of Schultz's workshop are experiments with light and shade, deep palette of colours and very high artistic skill. His portraits contain some kind of unbelievably precise psychological study of the model, telling us quiet a lot about character of painted person.
Between 1660 and 1669 Schultz painted four nature paintings, the most interesting of them are "Duck Hunt" and "Three Foxes".
Unluckily such great portraitist as Schultz probably never painted portrait of himself, so we don't know the face of the man who helped so many faces of the other's to survive in so spectacular way.

What I present here are the most interesting and my favorite of painted details on Daniel Schultz's artworks.
